Her maiden voyage with the new owners was from Miami to St Augustine FL and she ran like a champ then and still does now. Usage by current owners has been limited to traveling to mostly local areas within a 100 mile radius. Her sweet spot for cruising is 9 -10 knots depending on conditions and load. She has been ran up to 17 knots without issue but 14-15 knots is recommended sustained top speed.
The quality construction of this 1984 Hatteras MY is notoriously known to have been a top of the line industry standard.
