Introduction: This rare gem of a boat came into the possession of current live aboard owners in late 2017. Her maiden voyage with the new owners was from Miami to St Augustine FL and she ran like a champ then and still does now. Usage by current owners has been limited to traveling to mostly local areas within a 100 mile radius. Her sweet spot for cruising is 9 -10 knots depending on conditions and load. She has been ran up to 17 knots without issue but 14-15 knots is recommended sustained top speed.

The quality construction of this 1984 Hatteras MY is notoriously known to have been a top of the line industry standard. The layout is highly desirable for live aboard owners and for cruisers looking for roomy interior space for the comfort of multiple passengers while retaining a size easy enough for two people or even one qualified captain to manage for docking. With the addition of a modular couch in the salon that includes extension ottomans, Our Gang will sleep up to ten people.

Depending on which brochure is referenced, published length is approximately 48.67 feet, beam is 15 feet, draft is 4' and air draft is approximately 20 feet. She weighs 45,000 pounds She weighs 45,000 pounds without fuel, water, passengers or after market accessories and has a modified V fiberglass hull.

In Florida, the last registration renewal cost $4.25! She is an official antique and is issued a special antique decal.

Having been in the care of a lifelong experienced mechanically inclined captain and first mate, she has been maintained throughout carefully and regularly. Owners are selling due to their personal needs and have loved living aboard for almost seven years. The boat is located in beautiful St Augustine FL near downtown with a possibly assumable dock space for future live aboards if needed pending dock master's approval.

We are the sole owners, the title is valid, the registration is up to date, there are no liens, loans, past due dock fees or any other financial encumbrance attached to the boat.

This boat has been extensively refurbished primarily in the interior areas to create a one of a kind experience aboard. See a list of the updates done by current owners below.

Great Loop
If your purpose for purchasing a boat is to do the great loop trip, it is advised that you do further research as to whether this particular boat will suffice. It has been noted on other sales descriptions for the same year and model that it can make it under the 19' 8" fixed bridge included in the loop with antennae's down and radar removed but we can neither confirm nor deny that claim.
